A friend of mine was just in New York, and visited the Reserve bar located at 1142 Madison. Her pictures show off a beautiful store. I found the Instagram profile for this store here:
This is a Reserve bar location. Right now there aren’t very many Reserve bars. This are locations that have Roastery-exclusive merchandise, Roastery-created beverages, and multiple brewing methods including a Clover brewer and a siphon brewer. I like the coffee-inspired artwork! (They look like watercolors?).

Of course a Reserve bar is not the Roastery. I’ve seen customers confuse the two. A Reserve bar offers a variety of Reserve coffees, Roastery-created drinks, as well as traditional Starbucks beverages, like the Frappuccino. At the Starbucks Roastery in Seattle (Starbucks says more Roasterys are coming) you can’t buy a Frappuccino or a number of classic Starbucks beverages. The Roastery has complete coffee roasting operations. A Reserve bar offers beverages and merchandise, but you won’t find coffee actually be roasted and packaged at a Reserve bar.
While you might not be able to get to the Roastery in Seattle, hopefully you’ve got a Reserve bar not too far from you!
